Apostle Pernell H. Hewing, Ph.D. is the CIAN Regional Team for the Mid West. She is founder and pastor of the Church of the Firsborn in Whitewater, Wisconsin, as well as founder and president of the Sanctuary and Word Theological School of Ministry.  Before her retirement, Dr. Hewing was Professor of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. 

Dr. Hewing is committed to a life of prayer and of training, guiding, and nurturing others for the ministry of prayer. Her ministry the Sanctuary serves as a house of prayer, and a rest, renewal and restoration center where Christians from all over the world come for times of fasting, prayer, healing and ministry.

Dr. Hewing was ordained as an apostle by Bishop Bill Hamon, Christian International Apostolic Network, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.  She received the Doctor of Theology Degree from International Theological Seminary of California, Van Nuys, California.
