Much like many other motorcycle ministries, we seek to impact a nation of motorcyclists with the love of Jesus, and hopefully, lead them to a personal relationship with Him. We seek to win a lost nation of motorcyclists to the body of Christ through prophetic evangelism. We desire to minister the word of the Lord by letting them know that a relationship with Jesus is greater than any relationship with man, machine, or organization.

Every year, almost half a million motorcycle enthusiasts congregate in Daytona Beach, Florida for “Bike Week”. P.O.G. sponsors Rodney and Kathy Tolleson, pastors of Daytona City Church, embrace this “week” as a great opportunity to reach the unsaved. Their vision to bring believers together to share Jesus with bikers birthed the Prophets of God Motorcycle Ministry . Prophets of God Motorcycle Ministry is a ministry to motorcyclists - by motorcyclists - and others who have a heart to minister to motorcyclists.

 

Did you celebrate the freedom we have on July 4th?


We should celebrate the freedom of religion, not freedom from religion; freedom to travel from state to state without a passport or papers; freedom to ride your bike with or without your helmet, whichever you choose (depending on the state).  We should celebrate the wisdom of our forefathers.  We should pray that the ideals that this nation was founded on be upheld.  Thank God you can still thank God in America.  Remember to pray for the leadership of our country, from our President to the local office holders in your own community.


War is a bad thing, but even in the Bible, it became necessary at times.   I heard Lou Engle say that since abortion has become legal, over 50 million babies have been killed.   I recently saw a video that said that since our establishment as a nation, we have had 2,800,000 men and women die protecting our freedom.  Those 50 million babies didn't have a choice in what they supported or how they died.  Last January, I went to Os Hillman’s 7 Mountains conference in Atlanta.  One of the speakers had been an abortion doctor, until one day he and his associate decided to do live sonograms on the babies as they did the procedures.  After watching the video of the abortions he never did another one.  He said if the babies had had air in their lungs, you would have heard them screaming.  Not a pretty thought.  I checked my calendar and The Call DC is on 16 August on the national mall.  If you can't be there, support them with your prayers.  Check the following link for more information:  http://www.thecall.com/Group/Group.aspx?ID=1000016905


John Kilpatrick’s dream/vision  has been getting some attention lately.  I grew up in New Orleans, and as you probably know, it is built on what was a swamp.  When you do construction in New Orleans, you dig down for the foundations, and you get into a black sour mud.  They drive pilings under everything to keep things from sinking and shifting.  As a glazer in New Orleans, I did a lot of work in historic buildings of the French Quarter.  Once, when I was in school at Southeastern University in Hammond, Louisiana, I came across some really old books in the library about the buildings in the French Quarter.  It described the type of steam hammers and the length of the poles driven.  What interested me was that some of the buildings that pre-dated the steam hammers were built on slabs of cedar and cypress with cotton bales on them.  Even with all this foundational footing, the buildings sometime would "wiggle" a little.  Like an ever so slight bump on a Jell-O mold.  I knew about the New Madrid fault mentioned in John's dream/vision.  His dream of floods and wind will make you think of the flooding and tornadoes affecting our heartland at this time.  You can access his dream at these links:

Floods, fires, tornados, hurricanes and other natural disasters seem to be coming at us from all directions.  I knew a family in Louisiana years ago that had a house on a river.  The house was on pilings/stilts about 12 or 15 feet above the ground.  The husband woke up one night to something bumping the bottom of his house.  It was his three-wheeler floating upside down on its big tires chained to one of the poles.  They all escaped the flood, but something caused a rupture in a gas tank causing his house to burn down to the water level.  His foundation was firm, but he still came under attack.
