Fall greetings and blessings,

I think it was the comedian Gallagher who used to say, "Things that make you go Hmmmmmm???"  I think the one I liked the best was "Why do they call them apartments if they are all together?"  I was listening to a sermon the other day and drifted off as I sometimes do. (Did I say that?)  What came first the chicken or the egg?  If a tree falls in the woods and there is no one around to hear it, did it really make a sound?  If you break the law and you don't get caught, did you really break the law?  If you speak badly of someone, and you know what you are saying is a lie, and they never find out about it, is that really so bad?  If you sin and no one catches you, is it still a sin?  After all, you didn't get caught.  Did you know you were doing wrong when you did it?  Ultimately, God will be the one who knows.  Like I said, things that make you go Hmmmmmmm!

1 John 3:18-23 in the New King James Version reads like this, “My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.  And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.  For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.  Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.  And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.  And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.”

You should be able to Hmmmmm a new tune if you were originally confused.

I trust you have been enjoying the entrance into the fall season of the year.  Here at CI we are preparing for September APT's (Apostolic Prophetic Training) and October's IGAP (International Gathering of the Apostles and Prophets).  The distance training school continues to become more user friendly on the internet.  The MTC (on-campus Ministry Training Center) has garnered quite a few foreign students this year and starts the week prior to APT's.
 
Locally, we had the Colors for the Cross over Labor Day Weekend.  Here is a link to the Enterprise, Alabama Chapter President of Heaven's Saints Motorcycle Ministry. Heaven's Saint's Motorcycle Ministry   He is just one of many who come together every year to promote what Christian bikers are doing.  Every year the list grows as more participate.  I wanted to have some pictures of the event, as Dan Schaeffer and I went up on the bikes Saturday morning, but my camera went on the fritz and will not recognize the memory sticks anymore.   I will try to find some links for next month's letter and you can check it out.  The weather was great till about 3 p.m. when the bottom fell out of the sky.  The following is a letter requesting assistance from Rev. Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally, here in Panama City Beach, runs from September 25-28.   CMA has a tent at three of the venues and has the bike blessings on Sunday morning.  They have allowed me to participate in the Biker Blessing every year.  CMA, Heaven's Saints and Seed of Abraham are just a few of the Christian groups who come looking for opportunity to witness.  There are also a lot of secular clubs here, as well as people who just like to ride motorcycles and be around bikers.  I think we all fall into that last category.

With all that is going on in the world at this time, I would urge you to be in prayer for our military men and women as well as our at home front line, our law enforcement and our fire departments.  They, and other security companies, are looking for terrorist activity as well as all their other duties.  The national election for President is coming up, as well as many local elections in almost every community.  While you are petitioning God for favor, pray for our economy.  Begin to decree favor and prosperity over your health, home, family, finances and any other area that you see needs a God sent boost in your life. 

Psalm 2:7-9, “I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to me, ‘You are My son, today I have begotten you.  Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession.  You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”
Faith is seeing things that are not as though they were.  Begin to speak these things, building your own faith.

Mark 11:22-26, “So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.  For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his  heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.  And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.  But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
 
These references are from the New King James Version.  I would encourage you to do word searches or idea or text searches of the Bible on your computer as you get those thoughts or as God speaks to you in your prayer time.  Don't just assume because I or anyone else has said it or written it that it is accurate.  It will be so much more real to you in your heart and spirit if you see it for yourself, and your mind will retain it more easily.

Ever take note of controversy on television shows and on the news?  The news thrives on it.  You have shows like American Chopper and the OCC crew.  They seem to fight all the time.  People have left the show.  Miami Ink is the same way.  They decided they needed a manager, but who? They interviewed for months.  Got a girl to do it, and she has other issues and another occupation.  The owner is mad.  Pinks is no different.  Did they hold back on the race just to get a better jump later on in races?  Food shows race to prepare meals and they forgot to get the main ingredients or the host is cursing and raving like a lunatic to get things done.

Have you ever noticed the controversy in the foods we eat?  They are tainted with bacteria.  The tomatoes or the lettuce are full of germs.  Coffee is bad for you, coffee is good for you.  BBQ gets more fat out of the meat, but the charcoal puts more carcinogens into it.  Today I saw where long term exposure to burning incense causes cancer in the upper respiratory tract, but not the lungs.  So if you have a history of disguising aromas in your home like this, the enemy of our souls wants to cause you to be in turmoil.  Worry, anguish and not forgiving our brothers and sisters will cause physical problems too.
